I am excited to tell you about the changes, choices and chances in my professional life!

Changes
I am retiring from the practice of law on November 1, 2016 to devote my time and energy entirely to helping people through dispute resolution, using the processes of Mediation, Early Neutral Social and Financial evaluations (ENE), Custody Evaluations and Moderated Settlement Conferences.

Choices
The choices I am making are fueled with my desire for more flexible time in my work life and greater time with family, sprinkled with opportunities for travel. This choice also fuels my passion for working with people in what is usually a dark time in their lives. People need clarity, empathy, reality and wisdom to work through this and, ultimately, out of the significant changes they are experiencing, make their own choices.

​Chances
With choices after changes, comes the chances to regain stability or perhaps go in an entirely different direction. How many times have we heard someone paraphrase, “That which does not destroy us makes us stronger”? It is so much more than a trite phrase; it describes the process so accurately as difficult, life changing and ultimately a positive experience. My goal is to respectfully, competently and reasonably provide the impetus to walk through and emerge from this process changed but intact.
